And we want to help out by awarding an inspiring Kiwi in our region with the passion and determination to achieve their goal.

This year, Rothbury is offering a Bay Of Plenty regional Scholarship of $5,000. When you apply, you can choose to be in the running for the Bay Of Plenty regional Scholarship, as well as your slice of a national pool of $200,000 (applicants need to select the Bay Of Plenty region on the doyourthing.co.nz website).

There’s no age limit or restrictions – applications are open to any New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Whether your thing is a community project, business idea, education, or a dream to represent your country – tell us about it at doyourthing.co.nz!

We’ve already helped Pere Durie, previous winner in the Bay Of Plenty with a little extra support towards achieving his dreams. And Rothbury wants to help another inspiring Kiwi in our region this year.
